About Douglas Brown

I am contributing toward two different research projects: the first involves analyzing the genetic interactions within Pseudomonas aeruginosa, whereas the second involves examining the factors predisposing bone-marrow derived macrophages toward and away from successful infection by Salmonella enterica. Prior to my work at the Broad Institute, I worked in chemical biology at Boston College analyzing the parasite Toxoplasma gondii and the proteins necessary for successful invasion of host cells.
