Windows Crashplan Client Uninstall

Former Crashplan Backup Client Removal:

1. Open Control Panel 

2. Select Uninstall a Program.

3. Select Code42 (version 8.2 and later) or Code42 CrashPlan (version 8.0 and earlier) and choose Uninstall.

4. You will be prompted for confirmation, select YES.

5. When prompted Click Yes to complete the Uninstall.

6. You must delete the following folder from your computer:

• C:\ProgramData\CrashPlan

If you don't see this folder take a look for the one below.  It will be located in your user directory:

• C:\Users\<username>\AppData\<Local or Roaming>\CrashPlan
