Vamsi Mootha

The Mootha Laboratory is focused on mitochondrial biology and disease. We utilize a multi-disciplinary approach that combines genomics, computation, biochemical physiology, and medicine to achieve a holistic and mechanistic understanding of this organelle. Of outstanding interest is understanding the complex relationship between mitochondrial function and environmental oxygen.
